Building of Client’s Digital Readiness
The client recognized the importance of having an eCommerce platform but had limited knowledge in the newest technologies and wasn’t fully prepared for the logistics involved with shipping products locally and overseas. Guidance was provided to help the client set up and manage their shipping options and understand the numerous factors that may impact shipping costs. Through this collaborative process, we were able to help the client establish a successful eCommerce platform that met Koka’s and their clients’ needs. We also made sure that the platform and its shipping operations could be efficiently and easily managed.
Balancing Design Expectations with Time Constraints
Due to the influence of their huge range of products, the client was facing challenges in unifying ideas to create a cohesive design that would accurately reflect their brand. Time was invested to gain a deeper understanding of their brand and values. This helped us identify and narrow down to some key themes such as being “fun”, “energetic” and “healthy” that aligned with their brand identity. By focusing on these themes, we were able to create a design that successfully reflected the client’s vision and resonated with the target audience.
Fulfilment Optimization
Due to the sheer volume of product variations Koka has and the limitations of Elementor, it was necessary for our web developers to manually tabulate the size and weight of products for shipping. We conducted a series of thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the shipping cost for a reliable and transparent purchase process.
Maintaining Design Consistency
Koka’s brand story is effectively communicated through their website’s design. The use of bold and vibrant colours, along with high-quality imagery and playful graphics, creates a visually appealing and engaging experience that reflects the “fun” and “energetic” nature of the brand. The website’s information architecture (IA) is also straightforward and intuitive through a clear hierarchy of information, guiding users to the most relevant content. This enables users to easily navigate and find what they’re looking for.
Digital Assets Assessment
They didn’t have many assets and a well thought out brand guide prepped. Despite this, we worked closely with the client and guided them on the presentation and styling of the website elements to ensure visual alignment. This allowed us to create a clear vision for the new website. This also entails editing and refining their assets though it meant introducing delays in the project timeline.
