eCommerce website grant: PSG is now the EDGE Grant

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) closed on 29 September 2026. From 30 September, Singapore businesses apply for support under Enterprise Singapore’s new EDGE Grant. We’ve built grant-funded eCommerce websites for Singapore SMEs with PixelCommerce for 6 years. Here’s exactly what EDGE covers for your online shop.

Confirmed on 30 September 2026. eCommerce online shops are a supported EDGE activity: up to 50% for SMEs, up to S$2,500. PixelCommerce is listed as an IMDA pre-approved solution on SMEs Go Digital.

They stopped taking applications on 29 September. The EDGE Grant launched on 30 September, with 8 business areas and over 150 activities.

Already applied under PSG?

Applications submitted before 30 September are still assessed under PSG’s rules. Approved projects carry on through to completion and claim.

Holding an unsubmitted PSG quotation?

PSG no longer accepts new applications. Talk to us and we’ll issue a fresh PixelCommerce quotation for EDGE. You then build the matching package on SMEs Go Digital before applying.

How it works

How to apply for the EDGE Grant with Pixel Mechanics

  1. Free grant check. Tell us what you want to achieve. We’ll confirm it fits the EDGE activity, and tell you plainly if it doesn’t.
  2. Get your quotation. We send a quotation for our pre-approved solution.
  3. Build your package on SMEs Go Digital. Select our solution package so it matches the quotation exactly, then sign in with Corppass to generate a package reference ID.
  4. Apply on the Business Grants Portal. Your company applies with its Corppass. Enterprise Singapore doesn’t allow a third party to apply for you, but we’ll walk you through it. The stated application outcome is 1 week.
  5. We build your online shop once you’ve applied. Don’t let work start, and don’t pay a deposit, before your application is submitted. EDGE’s rules make that ineligible. Costs from the application date are covered once approved.
  6. Claim. When the project is complete and paid in full, you claim on the Business Grants Portal with a photo of the software deployed and its unique identifier. Disbursement by PayNow Corporate is 14 working days after claim approval, or up to 8 weeks by GIRO.

FAQs

eCommerce website grant FAQs

Is the PSG eCommerce grant still available?

No. PSG stopped taking applications on 29 September 2026, and grant support is now under the EDGE Grant. PSG applications submitted before 30 September are still assessed under PSG’s rules and can be claimed on completion.

Does EDGE cover an eCommerce website?

Yes. E-Commerce – Online Shop (B2C) is a Single-function Digital Solution under EDGE’s Automation & Digitalisation area. It covers setting up an online shop with secure payments, for selling directly to consumers.

How much can EDGE cover for an online shop?

Up to 50% for SMEs, up to S$2,500. Up to 30% for non-SMEs, up to S$1,500. The qualifying cost is capped at S$5,000 and covers software costs for up to 12 months. GST and maintenance aren’t covered. PixelCommerce is listed from S$5,250, with an estimated grant of S$2,500.

Who is eligible?

Businesses registered and operating in Singapore, with at least 30% Singaporean and/or PR ownership, that have not previously applied for grant support for this solution.

I had a grant for an online shop before. Can I apply again?

Enterprise Singapore says businesses that received PSG can apply for EDGE. For each solution, though, you must not have previously applied for grant support for that solution. Tell us what you had before and we’ll check it first.

Do I have to use a pre-approved vendor?

Yes. You choose an IMDA pre-approved solution on SMEs Go Digital. PixelCommerce is listed there, and we’ve been an IMDA pre-approved vendor for 6 years.

Should I sign or pay before my application is submitted?

No. EDGE’s rules say you must not have started work or made any payment or deposit before you submit your application. Costs from the application date are covered once it’s approved.

How long does approval take?

Enterprise Singapore states an application outcome in 1 week for this activity. The project then has to be completed within 18 months of approval.

I sell on several channels. Is there support for that?

Yes. Multichannel E-commerce Software is a separate EDGE activity, with the same support: up to 50% for SMEs, up to S$2,500. It covers managing several online sales channels, orders and inventory in one place.

Can I add extra features to the grant quotation?

Your SMEs Go Digital package must match the quotation. Extra features are quoted separately, outside the grant.

Why choose Pixel Mechanics for a grant-funded eCommerce website?

Start with your business needs: products or services, B2B or B2C, and your budget. With 10 years of eCommerce design and development, we build online shops around business outcomes, not creative awards. And because we also run digital marketing, we can help you drive sales once your shop is live.
