What is HTML? It stands for Hypertext Markup Language, a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, colour, graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages.

Important note: HTML elements are the building blocks of HTML pages. The elements are represented by <> tags.

HTML Elements

As we have mentioned above that the elements are represented by <> tags. An HTML element is a start tag (<>) and an end tag (</>) with content in between.

Below will be an example of how the structure should look like.
